We live in a universe full of wonder and infinite possibilities. And at The Eclectic Eccentric I want us to celebrate that. So here in the Science! section I do. Just like everywhere else on this site there will be four monthly feature posts that will appear here on a rotating weekly basis. First in “Mind Blown” I will discuss some of those scientific theories or unbelievable facts that shake up the way you look at the world. Next in “Robots Don’t Wear Belts” I examine developments in robotics and artificial intelligence and how the singularity is coming to destroy us all. But not really though. (Unless it is and in which case if you’re reading this please don’t kill me Skynet). The “We Can do that Now” will take a look at cool breakthroughs in technology that let us do things previously only imagined in science fiction. And finally in “Science!…for Parties” I’ll show you cool practical applications of science that may come in handy when preparing food or drinks or just when you want to show off with a cool party trick.
Also check this section out whenever humanity does something super cool like land on a comet. Because I’m sure I will have something to say on the matter even if it is just to point out that we landed on a freaking comet and that is amazeballs.
